Read the following instructions to troubleshoot Canon printing issues-
The printer does not the printer
The problem could be with the power plug. Make sure you have plugged in your printer properly to the socket. If this is not the case, you can try turning it off completely and power on after a couple of minutes.
It does not process printing jobs
This usually happens when you give numerous print jobs at one time. If the ON light keeps blinking, you need to wait till it stops blinking and remains it. Another thing is to ensure that the front tray is opened or not. In this case, keep it open. Try not to give large print jobs at once. Divide them before assigning it to the printer.
The printer does not produce proper prints
Keep a check on the size of the paper and if it is corresponding with the one you have mentioned in the print job. Change it accordingly in the case otherwise. If the print quality is blur or with uneven colors, improve the quality of your system and try to reprint.
Ink is not ejecting from the device
Make sure that the cartridge is not running out of ink. If yes, replace it with a new one. Connect it properly to the socket and your system. Another important thing is to ensure that the print head nozzles are opened. The blocked nozzles could be the reason it’s not working. Clean it and install it again.
